It's Lorenzo Again!

Catalunya - Jorge Lorenzo recorded a third win in a row after winning the first podium in MotoGP race held in Catalunya, Sunday (07/04/2010). The second podium achieved by Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner in third. With this result, Lorenzo maintained his position in top of the riders championship standings with 165 points, followed by Dani Pedrosa in second place with 113 points and Andrea Dovizioso in third place with 89 points.

Pedrosa who started the race from fourth position, immediately drove to lead the race, but unfortunately he was off the track and back in 10th position. He showed enthusiasm as the host driver, and managed to improve the position into fifth place in just one lap. On the fifth lap Stoner got off the track and back in fifth. After competing, Stoner successfully pass Randy de Puniet on lap eight and rose to fourth position.

Meanwhile, Aleix Espargaro from Pramac Racing Team had the misfortune, he fell and could not continue the race.

 Bad luck is also experienced by Simoncelli and Dovizioso. They fell on the thirteenth lap. Of course this is very frustrating for Dovizioso, who had trailed Lorenzo in second position, but he can still continue the race and finished in fourteenth position.

after falling Dovizioso, Pedrosa rise to the second position followed by Stoner in third position. This position was not change until the race ends.
