Rossi's Targets: Come Back in Sachsenring

Misano - Valentino Rossi said he wanted to comeback soon. But he can not provide certainty, because his condition was still not 100 percent. After a month absence due to injury at Mugello, today he was doing tests on Yamaha World Superbike YZF-R1 motorcycle. The test is divided into two sessions.
Vale did 11 laps with a best time record of 1 minute 41 seconds. One hour later, at the second session, he did 15 laps with a best time record of 1 minute 38.200 seconds.
Rossi is still feeling pain in the legs and shoulders. But the injury did not reduce his ambition to perform at the German MotoGP, July 17.
"This test has the objective to see if  I can drive a motorcycle. This is a very positive test, at least I can drive the motor again. I still feel pain in ankle, knee and shoulder. Moreover, I lack the strength in the shoulder and there was little movement at the knee. I wanted to get back at Sachsenring, but too soon to tell. We've got 12 days before the German GP and continue to monitor the progress of my recovery in a few days ahead,"  said Rossi to Autosport, Thursday (07/08/2010)
