This 2010 season will be the end of togetherness between Casey Stoner and Ducati. The Australian rider had decided to leave Ducati this season and riding for Honda next season. Stoner joined Ducati in 2007. He immediately made a surprise by winning the season. Since then, Stoner was unable to continue success with the Italian team.
"I should like to thank Ducati for giving me an opportunity to race and become champions in the last four years," explained Stoner told Autosport, Thursday (09/07/2010).
"I decided to move and try to find new challenges. But I will not forget the Ducati. So, thanks to Ducati for the success we've achieved, "said Stoner.
