Lorenzo led the race again

Catalunya - For the third time in succession, Jorge Lorenzo will start the race from pole position. He's become the fastest racer in the Catalunya MotoGP qualifying session. Previously, he also started the race from pole position in the UK and Netherlands. It all ended with the first podium.

Fiat Yamaha rider became the leader after recording the best time of 1m42.046 seconds, followed by Ducati rider Casey Stoner in second position, and Randy de Puniet in the third.
Meanwhile, the Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa is only able to occupy the fourth position, followed by Ben Spies in the fifth.

Wataru Yoshikawa achieved poor results. The riders who replaces Valentino Rossi will start the race from last position on his debut in MotoGP.
