Lorenzo Pole, Rossi Fifth


Sachsenring - Jorge Lorenzo took pole position for German GP in 2010. The Fiat Yamaha rider became the fastest in the MotoGP qualifying session at the Sachenring, Saturday (17/07/2010), with a record time of 1 minute 21 817 seconds.

Casey Stoner came in second place with a record time of 1 minute 21 841 seconds. Dani Pedrosa should be satisfied with occupying the third grid. Following right behind Pedrosa, team-mate Andrea Dovizioso.

Valentino Rossi, who had just returned after missing the last four races due to injury showing pretty good performance. He was able to reach the fifth position.
Hector Barbera was another sensation of the afternoon, taking his Aspar Ducati to sixth - the best starting position of both his and his team's short MotoGP careers.
